Liverpool keeper Kirkland breaks wrist, out for six weeks
Yahoo! Sport - Liverpool keeper Kirkland breaks wrist, out for six weeks
This just gets worse and worse. Liverpool's in 7th, we have to finish 4th and we lose our best keeper. Kirkland needs to drink more milk.

Down to business. There are several updates I am pleased to announce. In case you didn't know I live in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. It is important to remember this or all the place I mention will make no sense. So what's new?
I was coming back from Nevada Smith's the other night after watching Arsenal beat Celta Vigo and Real Madrid squeeze past Bayern Munich. After a few pints of Newcastle I cruised back home and stopped by a street vendor selling VHS tapes. For $6 I picked up a Max Hardcore
(aka Paul Little) classic.
Went to see my doctor on 5th Avenue and he said that my left lung has cleared up (Pneumonia/Bronchitis), glad to hear that because I've felt like shit for weeks.
I've been following the military-sponsored DARPA Grand Challenge. Basically unmanned robotic vehicles race 200 miles across the Mojave Desert. The Pentagon is offering a $1 million first prize for the winner. I'm glad to see the Pentagon supporting this futuristic event with our tax dollars...rather than spending our money on invading another Arabic nation.
I watched Chelsea beat Bolton this morning but the 2-0 scoreline was rather unfair. Bolton dominated the first 70 minutes and Jay ay Okocha had a few great shots but John Terry hit a volley worthy of Hernan Crespo and it broke Bolton's back. BTW Bolton backwards is Notlob. See the Parrot Sketch...
Went to Barnes & Noble last night and bought the new 2600 magazine and spent most of my time sipping on a cuppa reading a book on Y-DNA and mtDNA anthrogenealogy. Rivetting stuff. Trying to decide whether to get the Oxford Ancestors kit or Family Tree DNA kit.
Liverpool play Southampton tomorrow. If we lose their probably won't be any updates to this blog ever again. If you hear about a fat bloke wearing a Liverpool shirt getting hit by a freight train that will probably be me.
We're working on finishing 4th in the Premier League (Champions League spot) but I'm not optimistic. Life does that to you. Like Oscar Wilde said "How do you make God laugh?"...."Tell him your plans".
I hope things start looking up in your life and I wish you love, peace and happiness.
Let's get rid of Bush (AWOL from Alabama National Guard) and hop on the John Kerry (Silver Star winner in Vietnam) bandwagon.

Spent some time cruising around Grey Tuesday today. I think I realized that Danger Mouse has revolutionized music. From the Grey Album, we now get a Double Black Album and a Silver Album. I'm waiting for drum n' bass DJs to amalgamate accapella GZA over Pink Floyd Animals. This is where it started...this is where it began...
