Ancient Egyptian stonemasons & Gunshot Wound Art

My hands are covered in dust. Limestone dust to be exact. We have a stack of cut edge limestone tiles in the bedroom waiting to be laid in the main bathroom. I've been bevelling the edges with a file while smoking a pack of Camels. I've already finished one stack but I have a whole second to go. In a strange way I feel like an ancient Egyptian stonemason working on the Pharoah's pyramid. Yeah.
Anything else? Been thinking about something a bit cooler than another tattoo. I'm considering a piece of gunshot wound art. Basically, there are warehouses you can go to in NYC where you can get shot or "tattooed". Obviously, this is a dangerous practice but it is kinda cool. Who hasn't wondered what it feels like to get shot? Extremely painful, but definitely thrilling. I'm considering a gunshot wound (9mm) in the shoulder, between the shoulder socket and the armpit on the left side. They give you a choice of an armor-piercing bullet (small entrance/exit wound) or a hollow-point (small entrance, large exit wound).
The process is fairly simple. You go to a tattoo/body art store and ask around. Eventually you'll pay some gun freak $300 to take you to a warehouse and sit you down in a chair with sandbags stacked behind it. This will conjure up images of facing a firing squad. Hang in there and be mentally strong. You sit down, remove your shirt, they swab your shoulder in alcohol. The guy then asks you if you're ready. He steps back, aims and fires! Boom. For the first second you won't feel a thing, you're in shock! Within two seconds you are in serious pain. You will feel an intense burning pain in your shoulder. The guy will run over, cover the wound with a towel and help you walk outside to a waiting ambulance. You'll be in hospital for a few days but you should recover. You'll have a cool scar and you'll have experienced the feeling of being shot. Of course, you could always die so think twice before considering such a crazy idea.
Anything else going on? I use the word "douchebag" a lot now. Thanks to a combination of my buddy Stan and living in NYC. Check this out: type 'douchebag' into Yahoo and see who's the 2nd hit.

You afraid of a little pain?
Amazing blog! I really enjoyed reading and hope you keep updating it frequently! I really liked the information on body art! I have my own body art blog if you would like to come and see what I have on mine! Also, may I put a link to this blog of yours on mine?
I have a gunshot wound. I paid $300 for it. It hurt like shit and I went into shock. Went to the hospital and had a visit from the NYPD asking A LOT of questions. Good scar but the pain is no joke.
There's a place in Bridgeport, Connecticut where you can get this done - its close to the Holiday Inn. Ask around local piercing/tattoo shops and you may find someone willing to do it.
My brother had it done and had the whole thing videotaped. It's hilarious in a twisted way. He's acting all bad ass then BANG! (.38 in the calf)
Within a few seconds he turned completely white. I don't know if he was in shock but later he said he started to black out.
Personally, I think its reckless. What if the bullet ricochets and hits an artery? Cool exit wound though.
